Surromax Flat Panel Solar Water Heater is a state-of-the-art renewable energy system designed to harness the sun’s free thermal energy to provide consistent hot water for residential and commercial applications. The system operates on a simple but highly efficient indirect (closed-loop) circulation principle:

1. Solar Absorption: Solar radiation passes through the high-transmittance tempered glass cover and strikes the highly selective absorber coating (Blue/TiNOX film) on the copper fin plate. This coating maximizes solar absorption (up to 95%) while minimizing heat radiation loss.

2. Heat Conduction: The absorbed heat is transferred to the highly conductive all-copper riser tubes that are ultrasonically welded to the absorber plate.

3. Heat Transfer Fluid: Inside the closed-loop system, a specially formulated heat-transfer fluid (water mixed with antifreeze) flows through the riser tubes. As the fluid heats up, it expands and creates a natural thermosiphon effect or is forced via a pump (in active systems) towards the storage tank.

4. Heat Exchange: The heated fluid circulates through a copper coil heat exchanger inside the insulated storage tank. Here, thermal energy is transferred to the domestic water without the two liquids ever mixing, ensuring clean, potable hot water.

5. Cooling Cycle: After releasing its heat, the cooler fluid flows back to the flat panel collector to be reheated, creating a continuous, sustainable cycle.
